You explain that this photo is of a typewritten message used by the Allied Forces in WW2 to start the Enigma code breaking sequence. The code breaking machine required the starting positions of three rotors, and these are represented by three digits - the spectator is asked for these three digits - let's say they choose 123.
The photo is revealed on their phone - it shows a typewritten message of 123.
